What changed

Every release across the four places Kreedo runs. Newest first. Last updated 4 August 2026.

  1. The homepage says what Kreedo actually does

The landing page led with what Kreedo feels like rather than what it is. It now opens by saying plainly what the product does and who it is for, before any of the atmosphere.

  2. Onboarding, rebuilt as one path

Setting up a personal account is now a single guided run rather than a set of screens you could fall out of.

    • Nine steps, each one skippable, none of them a dead end
    • Onboarding is for new accounts only — an existing account is never sent back through it
    • A way out at every step. The previous version could leave you on /welcome with nothing to click
  3. Kitchen — food logging that holds up

The food layer that has to exist before any protein target means anything.

    • Log by description, by barcode, or from your own library
    • Duplicate detection, and logging the same thing twice is now idempotent
    • Per-source weight change, so a number knows where it came from
    • Hidden periods — time you would rather not have counted
    • Your own signals feed the correlation engine alongside food
  4. Kitchen on the phone

    Version 1.0.0

Food tracking on iPhone, built for the way people actually log meals.

    • Usuals — the meals you repeat, one tap from the add sheet
    • Barcode scanning, and a route out of it when a barcode is not recognised
    • Fasting windows and reminders
    • Copy a day, or adopt a plan your coach wrote
    • Grams and ounces both, and the imperial setting is finally read
    • Every provider-served food used to be labelled “Unverified” — corroborated foods now say so honestly
  5. Analytics only after you say yes

A cookie consent notice that actually gates the thing it describes. Analytics stay off until you opt in — not loaded-then-ignored — and clearing cookies resets the choice, exactly as the cookie notice says.

Autocapture is off in production, so no page content is collected by default.

  6. Real legal documents

kreedo.ai/legal now carries six documents written against the product as it actually behaves, rather than a template: Privacy, Terms, Cookies, Disclaimer, Security and a named list of sub-processors.

Claims we could not stand behind were removed rather than softened.

  7. A stated weight has somewhere to go

    • Measurements have a home, and a plan you write is one you are actually on
    • Energy targets use what Kreedo already knows, so a module stops re-asking you for your own numbers
    • A day is measured against the plan you were on that day, not the plan you are on now
    • The plan list says which plan is yours and which is your coach’s
  8. Knowledge posts, written and published properly

Knowledge articles are now written in Kreedo and read at build time, instead of living as hardcoded pages. Publishing an article no longer means a code change.

  9. You can coach yourself

A Kreedo account no longer needs a coach attached to be useful — you can hold both roles yourself and write your own plans.

Food reference data moved to a provider that returns real results: barcode lookup had never once returned a food, and search now answers.

  10. kreedo.ai

The site you are reading. A homepage that says what Kreedo is, and a waitlist you can actually join — for people who want an account, and separately for coaches who want to bring their practice.

  11. Signing in and signing up are different things

Signing in with an unknown email used to quietly create an account. It now says there is no account, and signup is its own deliberate step.

    • Open signup, with an allowlist available behind a flag
    • Your name carries into signup, so your display name is not your email address
    • A closed login redirect, and a stated country beats a guess from your IP
  12. Kreedo for macOS — the first build

    Version 0.1.0

The first build of the Kreedo desktop app: a native macOS shell around the app you already use, with sign-in, the navigation rail, and the status widget that brought you to this page.

This is an early build and is not in the App Store yet.

  13. Scored assessments for mind and self

Fill-in assessments that produce a real score rather than a vibe, drawn from published instruments: WHO-5, GAD-7, the DASS-21 stress subscale, IPIP-NEO-120, ECR-R, burnout inventories, and the self-layer set (SCCS, MLQ, BPNSFS, SCS-SF).

Seven days of data is enough for a provisional pattern, and it is labelled as provisional until it is not.

  14. Live transcript on calls

Coaching calls can now carry a live transcript — consent first, then the bot joins, and the text arrives as the call happens rather than afterwards.
